Red Violin II

What can I say about this? I love the color red, I used to play the violin, and "The Red Violin" is one of my favorite movies.

Several years ago, when I first saw the movie, I created the first Red Violin piece. I really enjoyed making it because it involved a lot of engineering in the creation process. This new version not only has real violin tuning pegs, but is also has a real bridge, a real end pin, and real strings. And, while it is possible to tune the strings, unfortunately, it doesn't sound much like a Stradivarius.

The original sold at the Art-A-Fair Festival in Laguna Beach this summer. You may purchase prints from Fine Art America.
