Do I Have to Practice Now?

Did you have to take piano lessons as a child? Did you resist as I did? I remember many times sitting at the piano wishing to be somewhere else and thinking that very question. In this piece it is my alter ego, the cat, who is asking this as she stares out the window at the birds in the tree, wishing to be otherwise occupied.
